Thanks for reminding me, I went ahead and closed all of the most recent threads in Sardelac about the title, so we shouldn't have to deal with any suggestions pertaining to the new system.

On a more general note, it looks like I'm going to go back to playing Minecraft tomorrow. I was generally looking forward to grinding up all of the Z-Coins for one of these envoy weapons, because it gave me an excuse to start playing again, toying around with the seven hero builds, and obtaining survivor on my main though normal gameplay. However, since the coins are tradeable now, I don't feel like farming up something that is going to be very easily purchased. So, I will probably give GW a rest again until the new storyline content is released.

Good luck to everyone who is going to chase after the #1 GvG spot for that emote, since that is now likely to be the most prestigious award for PvP and might actually mean something, instead of trims you can buy easily or titles you can farm.

This is pretty significant "reward creep" ....PVPers will be thrilled but at the expense of PVEers who will have for example their consumable farms devalued. I rather like the update, even though I'm not big on PvP normally. It gives more of an incentive for non-PvP players to give it a try a bit more. I decided to jump in and do some RA and got a 7 or 8 win streak, which is pretty neat, never managed that before.

Also, trolling people whining about it in GToB is far too much fun.

I hope they add some more rewards like stoneboxes, but for some PvE.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed RA, but when i entered Codex, already you had to be specific profession, but OK, i changed and did that.

But to enter HA? Nothing except if you are running some special build.

Would be nice if there would be quests where you could get 1 of those?
Make 2 quests per day, and that would satisfy a lot of players I guess.

Yup. Now I just make a pvp monk and throw on a couple hex removes and stances and just go ra, no runes no shield sets. Have gotten atleast 5 wins on every single run so far, and alot of respect (after being trolled for one staff set) for being such a good red bar'er. I'm glad pve noons are taking a liking to pvp now

One thing I am not happy about is RA. The changes to RA didn't do squat to stop leavers and syncers. With a strongbox at every 5 consecutive wins there is enough reason for people to keep doing these things.

@FoxBat, I thought the same thing about imperial faction. We'll see. It could be a good incentive for those working on thier Zaishen Rank or looking for PvP rewards to do WoC.

Item skins are the 1 form of vanity in GW. ANet would be retarded to make it affordable to everyone. Hell, make it 1000 GCoins and 100 Plat.

Along with our many additions that enhance the existing experience and reward PvP players, we want to encourage and guide new players into PvP gametypes. So, if you like the sound of these rewards but don't have a lot of PvP experience, we've added a series of simple quests that send players into the Battle Isles to try their hand at the various arenas. These quests also give a taste of the new Zaishen Strongbox rewards in this update and can each be completed once per account. Players can start these quests by speaking with Zenjal [Zaishen Recruiter] in the Great Temple of Balthazar or any port city.
